Re-Opening Party
ON 24 June 2016, the:- 'Amazing
Small Weller Live, a Tribute' to 'The Jam' and everything
Paul Weller took to the stage as the first act to play at the new look venue.
Also for those who attended, a free buffet was on offer... It was not intended
as such, but this was a welcome escape from the results of the Referendum. The
venue has suffered badly in recent years and the new Management hopes to start
turning things around, who have already got a good track record in Southport
after turning the Fox and Goose around. The building still has lots to do on the
outside and inside, but we are told that negotiations to undertake the work are
now proceeding, something that has been a major issue in the passed. Due to the
historical value and location, it's hoped that renovation work can continue
soon. But already the change inside is striking. To keep up to date on

website. Lets hope funds can be found to
aid the renovation and preservation of this local landmark, which is a fantastic
blend of both neoclassical and futurist architecture. Did you go to the
