Fall Out Boy live with
support - Professor Green and Matt and Kim
Photographs by Jo
Forrest.
ON Friday, 9 October 2015, at the
Manchester Arena, the fantastic pop/punk band,
Fall
Out
Boy played live to a
packed out venue. Sadly, hopes of the band's American Beauty/American Psycho UK
Tour visiting Liverpool never materialised, so we had to send Jo Forrest to
Manchester, to take few snaps for you all, instead. But what was odd about this
event was the band had got UK rap of
Professor
Green to open for them! Plus the
seemingly unlikely selection of a lesser known group,
Matt
and
Kim, made for
quite an unusual warm up... But these totally different genres mixed up
extremely well! Sorry for putting these photos on so late, but we had a few
issues getting them, thanks TalkTalk... lol Anyway please enjoy... Also if you
went to this gig, please do let us know if you also thought this was an awesome
event, or did you not like the mix? Email out newsroom today at:-

Busy Body's Lingerie
Specialists are ready to move on up, in 2016
LOCAL lingerie specialists, Busy
Body's, who are currently located in a small, thatched cottage shop in
Churchtown Village, on the outskirts of Southport, have announced that they are
moving to Liverpool Road, in Birkdale, Merseyside, in February 2016. The
clothing store is a growing, family run business with 3 generations working in
the shop, along with 2 other employees. All of them will be moving over to the
new store and proprietor, Jan Morton, told us:- "We will continue to
deliver the personal, professional and detailed services our customers expect
from us, but we are sad to leave our home in Churchtown. Sadly, we have outgrown
our current shop, so to continue to keep up the standard and to increase our
stock, so we have had no choice, but to move on. Don't worry; as this is not
until February 2016, and for a short time we will still have the shop here in
Churchtown. The village has given us many happy memories and we look forward to
welcoming our present customers and also hope to get many more, with our new
location. We will continue to help cancer charities, through things like the bra
donation bank and via fashion shows. We also hope the move will increase our
ability to provide extra help to our customers who have suffered breast cancer.
We already have many options available, and by continuing to working with the
NHS, we hope to increase these options in the new shop. The success of our small
business over the years has been down to our dedicated staff, Lucy, Beryl, and
Anne, as well as our many customers, we thank you all. We hope that our success,
that's lead to us having to move on, will continue for years to come."
Interestingly, the last show of the 2015 session for the shop, which will be
held on 26 October 2015, at Lansdowne Bistro, Southport has sold out. As with
many of their fashion shows, all funds raised will go to charity, this time
Breast Cancer Research. "I think it is amazing that the last Ladies'
Night, Fashion Show we hold, while located at this shop in Churchtown is, yet
again, a sell out, and a fitting end to a chapter in our shop's story."
said daughter, Lucy. Keep an eye on here over Christmas and throughout January
for more information about what is next for Busy Body's Lingerie Specialists.
