FFE AND ATG TEAM
UP WITH WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR TO MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE THIS
CHRISTMAS
THE Liverpool Empire and
its parent company Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) along with panto
producers, First Family Entertainment ( FFE), have joined forces
with the charity When You Wish Upon A Star this panto season to make
dreams come true this Christmas!
When You Wish Upon A Star are aiming to raise a whopping £65,000 to
charter the Orient Express and take poorly children suffering from
life threatening illnesses on a magical train ride to visit the
Warner Bros. Studio Tour; The Making of Harry Potter.
FFE and ATG have pledged to donate 50p from every pantomime
programme sold to this cause. ATG’s theatres will also be
fundraising during the panto season to help When You Wish Upon A
Star reach their target.
Kevin Wood, FFE’s Chief Executive, said:- “We are thrilled to
be supporting this wonderful charity. Pantomime and Christmas are
both closely associated with children and can be very magical indeed
when combined. We hope that by pledging to support When You Wish
Upon A Star, we may be able to wave our own magic wand to help make
some dreams come true for these poorly children. We ask everyone who
comes to our pantomimes this year to please help us spread some
panto magic by giving generously to make this trip a reality.”
Margaret Rowarth, National Events Manager for When You Wish Upon A
Star, said:- “The amazing people of Family First Entertainment
and the Ambassador Theatre Group are working together to spread lots
of ‘Fairy Dust’, for many of our very special children. We are
thrilled to have their support and in July 2014, they will turn the
dreams of some very sick children, into a reality. Their plan is to
raise the £65,000 necessary for a truly magical Harry Potter
Experience, for our children to visit the Warner Bros. Studio – The
Making of Harry Potter on the Orient Express, ensuring that by their
hard work, the children to be are able to set aside their pain and
difficult treatments and allow themselves to forget their illness
and suffering just for a day.”

Signature Living Dating
IS it really possible to
fall in love at 1st sight? According to data reported in the Journal
of Social and Personal Relationships, it’s definitely a possibility.
With this data, researchers were essentially able to show that the
first few minutes after two people meet can actually determine the
future of their relationship. Hopeless romantics, rejoice!
The study doesn’t necessarily make the task of finding the
"one" person who makes life complete any easier, but it does
give hope to those who find speed dating a great way to meet people
and make romantic connections because nothing gets a person dating
quite like the way speed dating can.
In today’s fast paced society, where our jobs take precedence in our
lives, it’s hard to find time to date and find that person that is
right for us. Everything that we do nowadays is quick and
convenient, from the way we eat to the way we workout. Maximizing
your time is essential to getting tasks done. It’s only fitting that
the dating game should also adapt to fit our busy schedules.
Signature Living Dating, a Liverpool based company takes a unique
approach to speed dating. Their first event on the 12th December is
giving the opportunity for single people to meet and mingle. The
midweek social is the newest event to hit the city, and it has
become quite the talk of the town since they announced their launch
in October 2013.
The midweek social is held at Sanctum, Signature Living, Stanley
Street, one of Liverpool’s hottest and exclusive bars in the heart
of the city. This exclusive event allows people the chance to meet
face to face, and they will be very pleased to find they are able to
stop wasting time trying to form relationships with unsuitable
people with dodgy profiles through online dating sites.
Upon arrival at Signature Living, guests are treated to a free
drink, and soon, they will become engaged by an enthusiastic and
exciting crowd of individuals composed of a 50/50 male to female
ratio who are serious about socializing and searching for love.
Daniel Kenwright, director at Signature Living Dating, explained:-
"When people attend our events, we want those who may
initially seem tentative about the process, to by the end of the
night, have discovered that they have met a lot of really great
people and have even clicked with 1 or 2 special individuals. What
starts out as a night of fun and excitement may actually end up
being the start of the rest of forever." |
