On waterfront Festival 2013

ON Sunday 9 June 2013, the Waterfront events continued Various sailing craft were present in the Canning Half Dock, including the frequently seen Kathleen and May, the schooner Johanna Lucretia and the Irene, a trading sketch; all of which allowed eager admirers aboard. Also berthed was HMS Pembroke which was also in the Docks during the BOA commemorations. Smaller craft were moored in the Albert Dock. The festive air continued during the fine weather and the waterfront remained busy. Meanwhile the large cruise liner Celebrity Infinity held pride of place at the Cruise Liner Terminal and was of great interest to many. The new terminal facility was continuing to earn its keep as a tourist information office! The weekend was deemed a success and was enjoyed by thousands.
